Door shown in Mahogany with edge banding on the outside edge

Door Style #125 has 1.5mm thick (about 1/16") external banded edges in a matching veneer, this door cannot have a machined profile edge. The #125 door cannot be ordered with the "no edge" option.

The #125 door is available in Select grades of the following wood species: African Mahogany, Birch, Cherry, Hickory, Maple, Red Alder, Red Oak, Rift-Sawn Red Oak, Quarter-Sawn Red Oak, VG Douglas Fir, Walnut, White Oak, Rift-Sawn White Oak, Quarter-Sawn White Oak, and Knotty White Pine. See our page on Wood Species, doors for sample pictures of the wood species. Keep in mind that this door style is made from plywood panels and the samples shown on the wood information page are solid wood stock. The veneer on the plywood panels will be similar, but because of the way the veneer is cut from the tree, they may not be an exact match to the solid wood version of the same species.

The style #125 door is cut from a veneered sheet of real wood measuring 48” wide by 96” long. The plywood core is medium-density fiberboard (mdf) with a veneer on the front and back side of the species ordered (Maple, Walnut, Red Oak, etc.). The doors and drawer fronts are cut from this sheet stock; the edges are cleaned up, and external matching veneer wood banding is applied to all the edges.
